TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) constitute a legally binding contract between you (“User”, “you”, “your”) and Vunjabei Bet Limited (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), the operator of the online gambling platform accessible at vunjabei-bet.com and any associated mobile applications or subdomains (collectively, the “Platform”). By completing the registration process, accessing the Platform, placing any wager, or otherwise using any service offered through vunjabei-bet.com, you unconditionally acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement in its entirety, including all policies incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree with any provision of this Agreement, you are prohibited from using the Platform and must immediately cease all access. This Agreement supersedes all prior or contemporaneous representations, understandings, agreements, or warranties, whether oral or written, regarding the subject matter herein. Use of the Platform constitutes irrevocable acceptance of these terms.
2. Licence and Regulatory Compliance
Vunjabei Bet Limited operates under a licence issued by the Gaming Board of Tanzania (“GBT”) pursuant to the Gaming Act, Cap. 41 of the Laws of Tanzania and the Online Gaming Regulations. The Company is fully authorised to offer online sports betting, casino games, and related gambling services to eligible residents of the United Republic of Tanzania. Licence details, including the licence number and validity period, are displayed in the footer of the Platform and are publicly verifiable on the GBT official register. The Company complies with all applicable Tanzanian statutes, including but not limited to the Electronic and Postal Communications Act (Cap. 306), the Anti-Money Laundering Act (Cap. 423), and any directives issued by the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of Tanzania. The Company does not offer services in jurisdictions where online gambling is prohibited, and it is the User’s sole responsibility to verify the legality of online gambling in their place of residence before registering.
3. Account Registration and Eligibility Requirements
Registration on the Platform is restricted to natural persons who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and are physically located within the United Republic of Tanzania at the time of use. Each individual may maintain no more than one (1) active account; the creation of duplicate, linked, or proxy accounts is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of this Agreement. During registration, you are required to provide complete, accurate, and current information, including your full legal name as it appears on a government-issued identity document, date of birth, residential address, and a valid Tanzanian mobile number and/or email address. You are further obligated to update your account information promptly if any details change. The Company reserves the unconditional right to suspend, restrict, or permanently close any account where it determines, at its sole discretion, that false, misleading, or incomplete information has been provided, and any funds held in such account may be withheld, forfeited, or returned net of costs incurred in accordance with the AML obligations set out herein and applicable Tanzanian law.
4. Identity Verification (KYC)
Pursuant to the Anti-Money Laundering Act (Cap. 423) and the Company’s internal Know Your Customer (“KYC”) policy, all Users are subject to identity verification. Acceptable primary identification documents include a valid Tanzanian National Identity Card (NIDA), a current passport, or a valid driving licence issued by the Tanzania Licensing Authority (SUMATRA). Proof of residential address may be satisfied by a utility bill, bank statement, or official government correspondence issued within the preceding ninety (90) days bearing the User’s full name and address. KYC verification is mandatory prior to the first withdrawal request, when cumulative deposits exceed TZS 1,000,000 in any rolling thirty (30) day period, or at any time the Company identifies transaction patterns consistent with suspicious activity as defined under the FATF recommendations adopted by Tanzania. The Company reserves the right to freeze the account and suspend all transaction processing, including pending withdrawals, for a period not exceeding thirty (30) calendar days pending satisfactory completion of verification. Failure to submit required documents within this period may result in account closure and reporting to the FIU.
5. Bonuses, Promotions, and Wagering Requirements
The Company may, at its discretion, offer promotional bonuses to Users, including but not limited to a Welcome Bonus, Reload Bonuses, Free Bets, and Cashback offers, the specific terms of which are published on the Promotions page and form part of this Agreement. Unless expressly stated otherwise: (i) the Welcome Bonus is subject to a wagering requirement of thirty-five times (35x) the combined deposit and bonus amount, which must be fulfilled within fourteen (14) calendar days of the bonus being credited; (ii) Free Bets must be used within seven (7) calendar days of issuance and cannot be withdrawn as cash; (iii) minimum odds for any bet qualifying toward wagering requirements are 1.50 (decimal format); and (iv) bonus funds are processed after real-money funds. The Company maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward bonus abuse, which includes, without limitation, opening multiple accounts to claim bonuses, collusive wagering with other Users to meet wagering thresholds, arbitrage betting using bonus funds, or any pattern of play demonstrably designed to extract bonus value without genuine commercial risk. Where such conduct is identified, the Company reserves the right to immediately void all pending and settled bonus-related winnings, withdraw the applicable bonus, and close the User’s account without prior notice or obligation to justify its determination.
6. Deposits, Withdrawals, and Payment Processing
The Platform accepts deposits exclusively through payment methods approved by the Bank of Tanzania and made available on the cashier page, which currently include M-Pesa, Airtel Money, HaloPesa, and Tigo Pesa mobile money transfers. The minimum deposit amount is TZS 1,000 and the minimum withdrawal amount is TZS 5,000. Deposits are credited to the User’s account in real time or within a maximum of sixty (60) minutes from confirmed mobile money confirmation. Withdrawal requests are processed within twenty-four (24) hours on business days; however, requests submitted on weekends or Tanzanian public holidays will be processed on the next business day. All withdrawals are returned to the same payment method used for the most recent qualifying deposit (“Same-Method Rule”) and to the same mobile money account registered in the User’s name, as required under AML obligations; no third-party withdrawals are permitted under any circumstances. The Company shall not be liable for delays, failures, or losses attributable to the User’s mobile network operator, the telecommunications infrastructure, or any other third-party payment service provider involved in executing a transaction. Currency conversion costs, if applicable, are borne exclusively by the User.
7. Prohibited Conduct and Platform Integrity
Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in any conduct that disrupts or undermines the integrity of the Platform or the fairness of gambling operations. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: (i) creation or use of more than one account, whether under the same or different personal details, including use of another person’s identity or credentials; (ii) use of automated software, bots, scripts, artificial intelligence tools, or any mechanical or electronic device to interact with the Platform, place bets, or gain an unfair advantage; (iii) exploitation of software errors, glitches, or technical vulnerabilities; (iv) collusion, match-fixing, or any form of fraudulent activity whether alone or in concert with other Users or third parties; (v) chargebacks or reversal requests made in bad faith after a wager has been placed; and (vi) any form of money laundering or terrorist financing using the Platform as a conduit. Upon detection of any of the above, the Company will immediately and permanently ban the User’s account(s) and associated devices and IP addresses, confiscate the full balance of any funds held in the account(s) without refund or compensation, and report the matter to the GBT, FIU, and any other competent authority as required by law. The Company will cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.

9. Data Protection and Privacy
The collection, storage, and processing of personal data submitted by Users is governed by this Agreement and the Company’s Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. The Company processes personal data in accordance with the Electronic and Postal Communications (Online Content) Regulations 2018, the Personal Data Protection Act, and any subsequent amendments or implementing regulations enacted by the Government of Tanzania. The Company does not sell personal data to third parties. Data may be shared with the GBT, FIU, licensed third-party payment processors, and KYC verification service providers solely to the extent necessary to fulfil regulatory and contractual obligations. Users are entitled to request access to their personal data, rectification of inaccurate records, restriction of processing, or erasure of data (subject to applicable legal retention obligations) by submitting a written request to [email protected]. Such requests will be handled within thirty (30) calendar days.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Tanzanian law, the Company, its directors, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for: (i) any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive financial losses arising from gambling activity on the Platform; (ii) interruptions, errors, omissions, delays, or failures in the Platform caused by hardware or software malfunction, network disruption, server downtime, cyberattacks, or any technical event beyond the Company’s reasonable control; (iii) the acts or omissions of third-party service providers, including mobile network operators and payment processors; (iv) the accuracy, completeness, or legality of information provided on any third-party site linked from the Platform; or (v) force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, power failures, government actions, or regulatory changes that prevent performance of obligations under this Agreement. The Company’s total aggregate liability to any User under this Agreement shall in no event exceed the total deposits made by that User in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability. Nothing in this clause shall operate to limit or exclude liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by the Company’s gross negligence.
11. Amendments to This Agreement
The Company reserves the unilateral right to amend, modify, replace, or supplement any provision of this Agreement at any time, without prior notice, for reasons including but not limited to changes in applicable law or regulation, GBT requirements, business operations, or security considerations. All amendments take effect immediately upon publication of the revised Agreement on the Platform, as indicated by the updated effective date displayed at the top of this document. Continued use of the Platform following the publication of any amendment constitutes the User’s unconditional acceptance of the revised terms. It is the User’s sole responsibility to review this Agreement periodically to remain informed of its current terms. If you do not agree with any modification, your sole remedy is to cease use of the Platform and close your account in accordance with the procedures set out herein.
12. Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing
The Company operates a risk-based AML/CTF programme in strict compliance with the Anti-Money Laundering Act (Cap. 423) and the Proceeds of Crime Act (Cap. 256) of Tanzania, as well as Financial Action Task Force (FATF) standards adopted by the Eastern and Southern Africa Anti-Money Laundering Group (ESAAMLG). All Users are subject to transaction monitoring; the Company maintains detailed records of all financial transactions for a period of not less than ten (10) years from the date of transaction. Where the Company identifies or reasonably suspects activity consistent with money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crime, it is legally obligated to file a Suspicious Transaction Report (STR) with the Financial Intelligence Unit of Tanzania without disclosure to the User (“tipping off” being a criminal offence under Section 17 of the Anti-Money Laundering Act). In such circumstances, the Company will immediately freeze the relevant account and all associated funds pending the outcome of any FIU or law enforcement investigation. The Company will not accept cash, cryptocurrency, or anonymous payment methods. All funds deposited on the Platform must originate from a mobile money account registered in the User’s own name.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, or any breach, termination, or invalidity thereof, shall first be submitted to the Company’s internal complaints procedure by written notice to [email protected]. The Company will acknowledge receipt within forty-eight (48) hours and provide a substantive response within fifteen (15) business days. If the dispute cannot be resolved through the internal procedure, either party may submit the matter to the Gaming Board of Tanzania for adjudication in accordance with the Gaming Act. Nothing in this clause shall be construed to limit the User’s right to seek emergency injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction in Tanzania.
